Jason – you forgot to mention that today is Bastille Day. Is this a further example of American anti-French prejudice?

And as for “freedom fries,” do you support going back to calling them “french fries,” now that the French are making anti-communist movies you like?

I don’t know about that. I liked Vicky Christina Barcelona. It’s not a film I’d necessarily watch a second time, but it was an enjoyable one-timer. Beautifully filmed in my opinion.

3D still seems like a great value added option to me. I”m willing to watch something in that format, if given the choice. I do think, however, that it is important that the material fit the format.

Shyamalan has done too much damage to his career. I can’t get into his stuff any more. We all basically know by now that nothing happens in his films.
