Now A.O. Scott's criticisms of Inception are valid, unlike Rex Reed, who just proved he couldn't understand it. (And if you were implying that Rex Reed's review was somehow mature and well-reasoned with your "adult" comment, Jason, well...) Nolan's dream-world is not a world of psycho-sexual symbols, or really anything that resembles my dreams. I was thinking myself that it seems a little too pristine and constructed instead of the completely unpredictable and wild natures of the human subconscious. But it is still an incredibly complex world with its own internal logic that is mind-bending and a great deal of fun to watch. I highly recommend it.

A.O. Scott is a reviewer that I can take seriously. Although his politics are the typical crap.

this picture of Carla Bruni and her husband

Is Sarkozy down on one knee or is he really that much shorter than Bruni?

Yes, I thought Rodriguez over-did the violence a bit. Rose McGowan did a nice job carrying that film - I'm a bit surprised she hasn't done more since then - including with her ex-boyfriend. Why can't we see her in Machete, instead of Lohan?

yes!!! The Twins were completely awesome in PLANET TERROR. The rest of the film was pretty good, as well, but maybe a little too over-the-top gory.
