I saw “Mao’s Last Dancer” and I loved it!!! It was very romantic, very emotional, with absolutely beautiful dancing. The characters were all excellent. I thought the lead actor was very handsome and had great charisma, and all the smaller character actors were really great too. Best of all, the film showed America to be the land of freedom and opportunity and there was no hemming or hawing about it. The film was also completely hard core in depicting the Communist Chinese as suppressing artists. Plus it even had positive depictions of President Reagan and then-Vice President George Bush!

People – you have to go out and see this film!!!

We’re all excited about seeing “Mao’s” in my house. Predictable that the NYT is attacking it. Why does anyone read that rag anymore? Anyway, we’re excited and we’re going to go see it this weekend.

I’ve got doubts about the David Fincher movie. Beyond the trailer, it looks like it’s going to be a little talky and cliched in how it depicts Zuckerberg.
