Great casting of a great actor. Speilberg directing is a good thing too. Probably the only active director in Hollywood that I trust to deliver a decent movie regarding this subject matter. Here’s the rub and what I don’t trust about this movie and that’s the writer. Tony Kushner. The man who delivered the immoral relevancy tale Munich and Hollywood only cares Angels in America. Hope I wrong but probably not.
I think we can reasonably assume they will not make it apparrent that Lincoln was a Republican, or that the Democrats supported slavery, or formed the nidus of the KKK.
