It's entirely understandable why nobody has heard of this film. It's politically incorrect, so the usual avenues of distribution and advertisement are probably closed to it. Unfortunate. The trailer is hysterical.

“It is nothing short of breathtaking to me that Fox News and the conservative/right-wing media here in America haven’t taken up the cause of this film.”

My guess would be that personalities like Limbaugh, Hannity, and Beck simply haven’t heard of it. They do a good job with political and social commentary, not so much on cultural and artistic matters. (And frequently when conservatives do comment on pop culture, they have a tendency to misconstrue what they’re commenting on. Witness Beck’s recent remarks about Springsteen’s song “Born in the USA.”)

As far as Fox News goes, it’s hard to say why they wouldn’t have picked up on it. Again, maybe they aren’t yet aware of it. And though I think Debbie Schlussel often goes off the deep end in criticisms of other conservatives, she has pointed out that Saudi Prince Al-Waleed Bin Talal is the second largest shareholder in the Fox News network and she says this “often manipulates FOX News coverage of Islam.”
