It is sad when the star is so attractive and appealing otherwise but maybe it is time for her to learn how to be a better human being. It sounds as if she has been getting away with a lot of bad behavior. Perhaps being fired will wake her up to the fact that she is not acting well toward others and that it is time to change. The "star power" will still be there if she starts relating to other human beings in a more empathatic way. Perhaps then the work will return.
